This “Risk Notification Form” is an integral part of the Crypto Exchanges Technology Terms of Use and has been created to inform Users about the risks associated with investment products when making investments through the services provided by Crypto Exchanges Technology.
This form was delivered to the User before they registered on the Platform and was also sent to the User’s registered email address.
1. Cryptocurrency Risk
Since cryptocurrency markets are not centrally managed and are not subject to legal regulations, our services, as defined in the Terms of Use, are not subject to a specific regulatory framework in Turkey. Therefore, Users will not benefit from the protections available to customers in legally regulated investment services. Users are responsible for understanding how cryptocurrency will be handled, regulated, and taxed under applicable legal provisions.
2. Commercial Risk
All these investment products carry a high degree of risk and may not be suitable for many investors. This form provides general information about the risks associated with these products; however, it does not cover all risks that may arise from transactions or provide information about risks related to your personal circumstances. If you have any doubts, you should seek professional advice. Before deciding to trade with Crypto Exchanges Technology, it is essential that you fully understand the relevant risks, have sufficient financial resources to assume these risks, and carefully monitor your crypto assets.
The values in cryptocurrency markets are volatile and can change rapidly at any time. Users are warned to pay attention to how sudden and adverse changes in trading and other market activities may affect their positions and assets. Cryptocurrency markets are determined based on supply and demand.
3. Liquidity Risk
Cryptocurrency markets have varying liquidity levels. While some are highly liquid, others may have lower trading volumes, which can increase volatility. Crypto Exchanges Technology does not guarantee or make any commitments regarding the buying and selling of a cryptocurrency traded on the Platform. If, for any reason, a cryptocurrency subject to your order is delisted or becomes unavailable for trading, the given order will be immediately canceled.
4. Monitoring
Users are responsible for securely protecting the password and/or other information they use to access their user accounts. Users must also ensure they can monitor the status of their accounts at all times, as each User is solely responsible for the security of their account. Crypto Exchanges Technology is not responsible for monitoring any User’s account positions.
5. Transfer and Transmission Risks
Users are solely responsible for transferring cryptocurrencies to electronic wallets. They are also responsible for taking security measures related to these wallets. If a cryptocurrency is transferred to a wallet belonging to another User, Crypto Exchanges Technology is not liable for this transaction; all responsibility lies with the User who made the incorrect transfer. Users are also responsible for any incorrect transfers that occur due to incorrect information entered during the transfer, based on the technical characteristics of the cryptocurrencies.
Once executed, transaction instructions given by Users cannot be canceled or reversed. All responsibility arising from the execution of instructions related to the services is solely the responsibility of the User.
6. Internet Risk
System errors may occur while trading on the Platform and/or our applications. Users acknowledge the risk that their instructions may be delayed or deemed invalid due to a system failure. Users are aware of and accept the risks associated with using an internet-based trading system, including hardware, software, and internet connection failures, malware risks, unauthorized access by third parties to user-stored information and/or digital assets, cyber-attacks, cryptocurrency network failures, computer viruses, communication errors, disruptions, malfunctions, delays, spyware, scareware, trojans, worms, phishing, and other malicious software that may affect their computers or other equipment.
7. Third-Party Risk
Crypto Exchanges Technology may collaborate with third parties that provide fiat/cryptocurrency services. If any such Third Party loses money, fails, goes bankrupt, or ceases operations, there are no special legal protections to secure your losses, even if the Third Party is registered with a national authority. Depending on the structure and security of digital wallets, some wallets may be vulnerable to hacking, leading to the theft of virtual currencies or the loss of customer assets. Crypto Exchanges Technology will not be responsible for damages caused by third parties.
8. Taxation
Users are solely responsible for determining the tax implications of cryptocurrency trading or changes in cryptocurrency value under applicable jurisdiction. Users are responsible for withholding, collecting, reporting, paying, and/or remitting any taxes owed to the relevant tax authorities in those jurisdictions.
9. Fees
Our fees and commissions are listed on the Platform. Please ensure that you are aware of all applicable costs and fees before making any transactions. Cryptocurrency transfers are non-refundable, and any fees paid by Users to Crypto Exchanges Technology for transactions are also non-refundable.
